The following materials are used in Orgones orgonite pieces:
All Lemurian quartz crystals are said to be record keepers, but the presence of triangles on the faces of the crystal are extra special.
Physically, the relatively small but precise triangle shape is raised or sunken into one or more sides of the termination point. Often several triangles are found together, but are generally difficult to see, with light having to be reflected directly off of the surface in order to become visible.
There are stories of record keeper triangles appearing that were not there before, and disappearing after having previously been identified.
It is thought that the record keeper triangles are formed when a mineral-rich solution flowed over protrusions on the surface of the crystal point, and point in the direction of the fluid flow.
Metaphysically, it is believed that crystals with record keeper triangles can be used to access information stored within the crystal via meditation or intention, and that they are highly programmable, enabling storage of one’s own information and data.
The three points of the triangle are said to represent the balance between physical, mental and emotional aspects of life.
It has also been said that crystals with record keeper triangles have facilitated access to information stored within the Akashic Records (a compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions and intent ever to have occurred, believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane), with the triangle shape representative of a door or gateway.
They are said to activate dormant intuitive and psychic abilities, and assist communication with spirit guides.
We have to mention that Lemurian quartz crystals are considered master crystals, and are relatively rare. Naturally double terminated Lemurian quartz crystals are even rarer, and are even more powerful, being able to both transmit and receive information at the same time – especially useful for balancing energies, be it between chakras or people.
Record-keeper triangle-faced double-terminated Lemurian quartz crystals are incredible specimens, the crème de la crème, and are very rare indeed. Although the triangles only need to appear on one face for the crystal to be considered a record keeper, most of the record keeper Lemurian crystals we use have the record keeper triangle markings on both ends, with the arrows pointing in the direction of the termination at both terminations.
These are rarely seen for sale, and command high prices when they are.
Please see the “Double terminated Lemurian seed quartz crystal” section for further general information on double terminated Lemurian seed quartz crystals.
Metaphysically, clear quartz crystals have 6 primary properties; they are able to structure, store, amplify, focus, transmit and transform energy, including but not limited to matter, thought, emotion and information. They are said to heal, cleanse, balance and strengthen the chakras, resulting in physical, mental and emotional well-being as well as initiating and strengthening our innate intuitive abilities.
Lemurian quartz crystals were originally found in Brazil, and are often found in loose sandy soil, relatively close to the surface, in grid-like patterns all over the world, as if someone had planted them there.
Metaphysical legend indicates that the peaceful ancient Lemurian civilisation planted these unique crystals around 12 million years ago, for future generations to uncover.
The Lemurian civilisation is said to have existed prior to Atlantis, and was highly advanced and spiritually developed. Hawaii and other Polynesian Islands are thought to be the tops of ancient Lemurian mountains, having sunk beneath the Pacific ocean.
Lemurian crystals are considered to be master crystals; associated with all chakras and astrological signs, and are able to communicate with other crystals. Lemurian crystals possess a unique and powerful energy that is warm, nurturing, feminine, unifying and healing. In addition to having the most powerful intuitor energy in the mineral kingdom, their energy is said to be tuned to unity, and to helping balance spiritual and physical aspects of our lives.
Physically, Lemurian crystals have multiple bar-code like horizontal grooves, striations or stripes along one or more sides of the shaft. These are said to contain information, knowledge and wisdom programmed and embedded by the Lemurian civilisation. Lemurian crystals are used to clear and activate chakras, assist in removing energy blockages, aid in spiritual evolution and help with dream work.
The Lemurian seed quartz crystals that we use in our Orgones orgonite pieces are naturally double terminated.
Being an independent whole, rather than part of a matrix, double terminated crystals are said to have unique energy creation and amplification properties, as well as strong mental and physical protection properties, having an overwhelmingly positive affect on health, strengthening the aura.
They are more powerful than standard Lemurian crystals, and are relatively rare.
Standard single terminated crystals focus and amplify energy in one direction, but naturally double terminated crystals are known to simultaneously absorb and transmit energy in both directions. For example, a single terminated crystal can send energy from one chakra to the next; double terminated crystals can exchange energy between chakras, clearing blockages and bringing greater balance and stability.
This bi-directional transfer of energy can introduce or enhance stability in all the subtle energy systems of the body, and is especially useful in balancing energies between two people.
Physically, Amethyst quartz is clear quartz that has been coloured purple by impurities of iron and manganese compounds.
Amethyst was considered a precious stone in ancient times, and at times has been worth as much as diamond. Today, Amethyst remains a primary choice for many metaphysicians, and is considered a powerful and protective crystal.
“Amethyst” derives from the Greek word ametusthos, which translates as “not intoxicated”, as it is considered a sobriety stone; helping to prevent overindulgence in alcohol, as well as other addictions and destructive compulsive behaviours.
Other metaphysical properties include being a natural stress reliever, aiding creativity and idea forming, helping to bring projects to fruition, encouraging inner strength, aiding development of imagination, intuition and psychic abilities, transforming negative energy into positive energy, enhancing spiritual wisdom and awareness, aiding peacefulness required for meditation, promoting peaceful sleep, providing comfort during grieving, and being a purifier to the aura.
Physically, Rose quartz is a silicon dioxide crystal found in abundance all around the world, and only occurs in massive form, with no crystal faces, edges or terminations. Sometimes called pink quartz, its distinctive rose-pink colour is due to trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese.
Rose quartz was prized in the ancient world for its powers of physical beatification, and has been exchanged as a token of love from as early as 600 B.C. Today, Rose quartz remains one of the major carving stones of China, and is considered as the stone of unconditional love, carrying compassion and peace, and is one of the most important stones for heart chakra work.
Rose quarts is often referred to as the love stone, with a high soothing and calming energy that can enhance all types of love; self-love, family love, platonic love, romantic love and unconditional love.
Other metaphysical properties include helping to raise self-esteem, lower stress, balance emotions, ease anxiety, clear out anger and jealousy, aid empathy and reconciliation, attract new love, develop closer bonds with family and friends, support connections within groups and the community, stimulate the imagination in relation to art, music and writing, and circulate a divine loving energy throughout the entire aura.
Clustered quartz formations are said to have an effect that is greater than the sum of their parts. Clustered double terminated Lemurian quartz crystals combine all the properties of quartz, Lemurian quartz crystals, double terminated quartz crystals, and clustered quartz.
These are relatively rare specimens that are highly coveted for their unique healing properties.
Metaphorically, as the two or more double terminated crystals have grown together for millions of years, the clusters are seen as naturally assisting and healing, aiding growth and development.
We believe aluminium and gold to be the best materials for use in organite, especially in combination with the rest of the high quality materials that we use. Any metal will work, but we find aluminium to be the strongest, and it is generally regarded as the best base metal to use.
Our aluminium is not offcut material, scrapings, turnings or any other by-product of industry. These types of scrap aluminium commonly used in ogronite are often contaminated with oil, grease, other metals and materials, as you would expect. Although the orgonte will normally still function fine, these impurities can disrupt the operation; if there is too much fine metal, the efficiency of the piece can become compromised.
The aluminium we use is brand new, 100% clean and pure, straight from the metal factory.
Gold has been mined and used for currency, jewellery and arts for at least 6000 years, and continues to symbolise power, wealth, and success to this day.
Gold is a precious metal, with its value rooted in its relative rarity. Highly conductive and resistant to erosion, modern day uses are split between jewellery, investments and industrial applications.
Gold is often referred to as the master healer, being able to clear negativity from chakras and energy fields of the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual bodies.
Gold is considered to have an energy which is cooperative, receptive and regenerative, and works very well with other gemstones, attracting and maintaining qualities from other stones, increasing their power, while providing a stabilising influence on them.
Other metaphysical properties include helping to improve one’s character, amplify thought-forms, prevent spiritual erosion, bring comfort, lessen trauma, gain knowledge, ease the burden of responsibility, recognise the positive qualities of others, amplify self-confidence, dispel feelings of self-hatred and inferiority, alleviate tension, stabilise emotions, provide composure, and eliminate ego conflicts.
Physically, Selenite is a crystal composed of oxygen, sulphur, hydrogen, calcium and water, and is frequently found in alkaline lake muds, clay beds, evaporated seas, salt flats, salt springs, and caves.
“Selenite” derives from the Greek word selēnitēs, which translates as moonstone or stone of the moon; ancients believed that certain transparent crystals waxed and waned with the moon.
Selenite is thought to be excellent for clearing, charging, and enhancing the properties of other crystals and stones in close proximity, and is seen as a master of energetic clearing on all levels.
Metaphysically it is a protective stone, used to open, activate and clear all chakras, removing negativity and energy blocks on emotional, etheric and physical levels.
Other metaphysical properties include, increasing intuition and psychic awareness, awaken or deepen telepathic ability, aiding meditation (facilitating the full opening of the crown chakra - known in the Hindu tradition as the Thousand-Petaled Lotus), aiding quick spiritual growth, bringing harmony and inner peace, promoting honesty, enhancing mental clarity, decreasing confusion, stabilising erratic emotions, strengthening memory, aiding decision making, and shielding personal space from outside influences.
It has been claimed that selenite emits negative ions, and is able to change the chemical composition of liquids placed near it, but we have not been able to find any data to confirm these claims.
Cubic zirconia is the cubic crystalline form of zirconium oxide, and most commonly used as a diamond simulant in jewellery.
Cubic Zirconia is extremely rare in natural form, so it is created instead of found. Grown in a controlled environment, Cubic Zirconia has a perfectly aligned flawless crystalline structure. It is then cut and faceted in the same intensive, precise way that diamonds are. In fact, even gemologists can’t always tell the difference between Cubic Zirconia and diamond when viewed with the naked eye.
Because the mineral is formed relatively quickly in controlled conditions by man, rather than forming over millions of years in nature, the metaphysical properties of Cubic Zirconia are rather unique, and often mistakenly assumed to be lifeless.
Thought to be energetically similar to quartz, it is devoid of influence from environmental factors, or other rocks and minerals in formation. As a young crystal, it has tremendous power, but a lack of inherent character and direction, so is susceptible to influence or programming. A natural amplifier of energy, it is ideally suited for use in orgonite pieces with the influence of other crystals and gemstones.
An interesting report from a Reiki practitioner has found Cubic Zirconia to be a remarkable healing tool; helping to relieve muscle congestion, as an amplifier of Reiki energy, as a powerful meditation aid, helping to provide enlightening dreams, and as an intuitive diagnostic tool during distance healing.
Other more general metaphysical properties include clearing and balancing chakras, aligning physical and energetic bodies, providing a sense of calm, relieving stress, and cleansing and strengthening the aura.
We have these beautiful 51ct AAA grade gemstones specially made and cut for use in our orgonite pieces.

Tiger eye is a most ancient talisman, mysterious and powerful, thought to grant the ability to observe everything, even through closed doors. It was chosen by the Egyptians for the eyes in their deity statues to express divine vision, and was believed to provide the protection of the sun and earth combined; of Ra, the sun god and Geb, god of the growing land.
“Tiger Eye” derives from the big cat it is named after. While it may seem obvious that it was named due to its resemblance to the eye of a tiger, a tiger's eye does not have a pupil that elongates vertically like a cat's eye; a tiger's pupil remains round.
It could be based on a tiger’s stripes, which are similar to the striped coloration of the tiger eye gemstone, or it could be the metaphysical properties of the stone that are likened to the behaviour or character of a tiger.
A tiger exhibits unwavering focus, determination, perseverance, and patience. A tiger waits until the time is right, only takes what he needs to survive, uses but doesn’t abuse its power, and lives in harmony with nature. These are all qualities that resonate with the prominent metaphysical properties of tiger eye.
